Description

TiaMaria1L is a classic coffee liqueur that has its origins in a Jamaican recipe but is now produced commercially under the Italian owner Illva Saronno. The liqueur is made with a base of dark Arabica coffee extracts, Jamaican rum, Madagascar vanilla and sugar, resulting in a complex and rich flavor profile in which roasted coffee, vanilla sweetness and warm rum notes come together.

In terms of aroma and taste, TiaMaria offers intense coffee aromas with hints of chocolate and vanilla, followed by a round, softly sweet and balanced taste in which the coffee and vanilla are dominant but the rum heat subtly contributes to the depth. Its relatively low alcohol content compared to strong spirits makes it accessible and versatile, possible pure or chilled with ice, but especially popular as base for classic cocktails such as Espresso Martini and White Russian or as an aromatic addition to desserts and coffee.
