Tanqueray Gin 1 L (usually the London Dry variant) is a premium gin with a long tradition dating back to 1830, originally developed by Charles Tanqueray and today produced by Diageo. It is made with a four-times distilled neutral grain spirit to which only the four traditional botanicals juniper berries, coriander, angelica root and liquorice are added during distillation. added, creating a clean, dry and well-balanced gin profile without added sweeteners.
The gin has a bright, fresh nose with dominant pine-like juniper flavors, supported by spicy and light citrus notes. On the palate it is dry, juniper-driven and aromatic with hints of coriander and angelica, followed by a short, clean and dry finish that makes it suitable for a wide range of cocktails. It forms a classic base in a Gin & Tonic, but also works well in Martinis, Negronis, Gimlets and others cocktails where a traditional London Dry style is desired.
