Southern Comfort Bitter 1L is an iconic American liqueur that originated in 1874 in New Orleans then bartender Martin Wilkes Heron developed a combination of whiskey with fruit, herb and spice flavors. The current formula uses a whiskey or neutral spirit base which is blended with natural fruit and spice aromas to create a complex and accessible character create.
This amber-colored liqueur is known for its fruity nuance, especially with notes of peach and citrus, supplemented by vanilla, caramel and soft warm spices such as cinnamon, which together result in a smooth, slightly sweet and aromatic profile that can be widely used. Southern Comfort can be drink straight, on the rocks or used in classic and modern cocktails, such as the Alabama Slammer, SoCo & Lime or mixed drinks with cola or ginger ale.
