Martell VSOP Medaillon 1L is a classic VSOP cognac produced by Martell, one of the oldest and most established cognac houses in the Cognac region in France, founded in 1715. This blend is formed from carefully selected eaux-de-vie from four of the best crus of the Cognac region and undergoes maturing in French oak barrels, which contributes to the complexity and balance of the end product.
The cognac has a golden amber color with an aroma that combines fruity and spicy elements, such as bitter citrus, dried fruits (such as plums and raisins), vanilla and light wood notes. The flavor profile is mellow and round, with a soft body and a long, harmonious finish in which both fruity and oak nuances are present. This combination makes Martell VSOP Medaillon suitable for direct consumption or as an elegant base in classic cocktails such as a Sidecar.
