Kraken Spiced Rum 1 L is a spiced rum from the Caribbean, distributed by Proximo Spirits, originally created from Caribbean rum distilled from sugar cane molasses and then blended with a secret blend of spices. The drink has a deep, almost inky black color which refers to the legend of the Kraken, a sea monster that is said to have demolished and contaminated ships and rum supplies.
In terms of taste and aroma, Kraken opens with rich notes of caramel, toffee and spices, after which spicy accents such as cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and ginger emerges on the palate, supported by a sweet and warm rounded profile with a lasting spicy finish. The combination of spices and rum makes it suitable for drinking neat with ice or for use in cocktails and long drinks such as a Rum & Cola, Dark ‘n’ Stormy or other spiced rum creations.
