Description
Boiler No. 1 Jonge Jenever 1L is a classic premium young genever produced by the Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, Netherlands, a city that historically forms the core of the gin tradition. The name Ketel No. 1 refers to the distillery’s oldest copper still, which symbolizes craftsmanship and tradition.
This young gin is made from a blend of grain distillates with a touch of grain spirit and a carefully selected mix of herbs and botanicals. The result is a pure and balanced profile with light aromas of grain, juniper, citrus and delicate spicy accents. The taste is generally soft and clean, with a fresh aftertaste that makes the gin accessible.
Boiler No. 1 Jonge Jenever 1L can be drunk pure or with ice, but also serves as a flexible base for cocktails in which jenever plays a role, such as the Dutch Mule, Genever Martini or other mixed drinks where a mild, botanical base is desired.
