Johnnie Walker Platinum 18 Years 1L is a premium Blended Scotch whisky from Scotland, historically known as Platinum Labeled but recently also sold as Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old, with the same recipe and the same 18-year maturation. The blend has been carefully curated by Johnnie Walker’s master blender and contains up to approximately 20–25 individual whiskeys from different regions of Scotland, with the youngest component being at least 18 years old.

The profile of this whiskey is balanced and refined, with aromas of sweet dried fruits, vanilla, caramel, citrus and light hints of smoke and herbs. The palette offers a medium body with light complexity, combining both the sweetness of malt components and subtle wood and smoke spices. The finish is generally long and smooth, with soft oak and fruity notes.

This whiskey is traditionally served neat or with a drop of water to further open up the aromas, but can also be with ice are enjoyed or used in simple whiskey mixed drinks. Within the Johnnie Walker range, this 18-year-old blend is positioned above the standard Black Label and Gold Label Reserve, but below the Blue Label in terms of positioning.
