Jameson 1L is one of the most famous and internationally sold Irish whiskeys, originally developed in 1780 and today produced by Irish Distillers in County Cork, Ireland. The standard Jameson is a blended Irish whiskey which consists of a mix of pot still and grain whiskeys.
The production is characterized by triple distillation, which contributes to a smooth, mild and balanced character without pronounced smoke or peat. After distillation, the whiskey is matured in oak barrels (approximately four years or more), which provides aromas and flavors such as spicy accents, vanilla, light sherry notes and a soft, hint of floral nuance.
