Glengoyne 21Years 0.7L is a high-quality Highland single malt Scotch whisky produced by Glengoyne Distillery in Scotland. Distillery processes at Glengoyne are traditional and slow, helping to develop a subtle and smooth character. This release is matured exclusively in first-fill sherry casks for at least 21 years, which gives a deep, rich and layered flavor with clear fruity and sherry influences.
The nose often contains red apples, toffee, sherry notes and spicy strudel-like aromas, while the palate rich sherry, honey, oak, red fruits and a hint of cinnamon spice. The finish is generally long, warm and slightly spicy with a softer dryness from the oak barrels.
