Description
Cardhu 21 Years 0.7L is a rare and premium Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, released as part of Diageo’s Special Releases series. This whisky was distilled in 1991 and during 21 years old matured in ex‑bourbon American oak casks, giving it a deep, layered structure developed.
The aroma and flavor profile are described as balanced and complex, with the presence of sweet fruit notes such as green apple, citrus, and papaya, complemented by vanilla- and honey-like sweetness, followed by spicy and oaky nuances. The finish is long and aromatic, in which the maturation and ripe characteristics are clearly reflected.
This 21-year-old edition is considered a delicate yet rich whisky with both fruity and spicy elements, suitable for lovers of well-matured single malts and to enjoyed slowly and purely to be.
