Description
Bacardi Carta Blanca 1L is an iconic white rum from Bacardí, a brand with roots in the 19th century. After years of experimenting, Don Facundo Bacardí Massó introduced this rum, which quickly became a standard for mixable rum drinks because it does not overpower other flavors but does support them.
This rum is made from sugar cane molasses, fermented and distilled, then briefly aged in oak barrels and filtered through charcoal to get a clean and soft character. The result is a light, fresh rum with floral and fruity aromas (e.g. citrus, apricot and light coconut) and a dry, fresh aftertaste that mixes well with a wide range of mixers and juices.
Bacardi Carta Blanca 1L is particularly popular as a base for classic rum cocktails such as the Mojito, Daiquiri, Cuba Libre and Piña Colada, but can also be enjoyed neat with ice or mixed with soda water or soft drink served.
